Will this hair style suit my hair?

OK I am unsure about getting my hair layered but I will tell you what my hair looks like then...please give me advice.

*my hair is 5 inches long below my shoulder (its also thick)

*its dark brown

*its curly/wavy (but i basically straighten it every day)

*i live in a deserty area

*I have a face frame (plan on getting that redone)

So does it seem like it would look ok? or will it make my hair hard to deal with due to it being wavy?

It is really hard to tell without seeing it. I suggest you go to a salon and ask an expert, they can give you more insite that we can.

it should look good. wavy layers almost always look good. and i dont think the desert thing will matter much. just make sure you only get layers on the bottom 5-6 inches of your hair.

seems like it will be pretty good. since your hair is wavyish it will be way wavier cus it will be shorter.

its curly and deserty area and thick well if u ever leave it curlyy i think not to much layred dont get to much layred and it hot so i think not to much layerd it should look goo though aand straghit thick destery i think u should get more but not the whole thing

Well, your hair sounds like mine was before i got it layered. and i definatly think you should go for it. i love my hair now and i love discovering all the things i can do with it! and since you live in a deserty area just make sure you use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

It would make it hard to deal with.... Unless you intend to leave it with the curl and stop straitening it...

darling, i think it will look beautiful. in my opinion, people with dark, wavy hair look so good layered!! i think you should do it. it will make it less thick and have more body to it.

layers are always a good idea unless yer hair is above the sholder even then certain people can pull it off. i say go for it, it sounds like u have a good plan and im sure it will look the way u think... just make sure that the person that is putting the layers in does it the way u want them done not the way they feel like it thats what causes bad haircuts... good luck

You can layer it, but if you are in a dry area and your hair is naturally curly, you should try a style that allows your hair to curl a little. There are chicks all over working their rears off trying to get body into their hair and here you are throwing it away! I know, we all want what we don't have, so of course you want your to be "Marsha Brady straight". But you can have a touseled look with just a touch of control product or you can wear it shorter and it will be wild and sassy - what's wrong with that? Long it would be Sarah Jessica Parker, short it would be Charlize Theron.

Yeah that is like my hair, I tryed layers and I hated them to me if made my hair look thicker which was not what I wanted.
