Hair style help?

My hair is really boring and has been for a really long time, it's long (about down to my butt), curly, and frizzy. My mom made an apointment to get my hair styled and I kind of have an idea of what I want it to look like. I really like the emo look, I'm getting the bangs (so I can put them off to the side) and I'm getting it cut to be a little past my shoulders. Finally, what I need your on is:

1.) What is that style called?

2.) I wanted to get some streaks of some kind of bright color in my hair, what color would work for light brown hair?

3.) I have almost no idea how to style my hair ( in the mornings). What do I need? What brands of those (blanks) works best?

I'm asking a lot, I know, but I'm really nervous about getting my hair cut and styled, let's just say I've had a few bad experiences with getting my hair done.

I've written a ton, but I hope that's enough information for you to help me. And please do help, because as you can see, I'm completly clueless.

ok first of all if you have frizzy hair then the emo look won't work for you unless chemical straightening works onyour hair which I would look into, if it doesn't work I would try for more restrictive methods, braid it, gell it, NO MOUSE that makes it worse and stay away from bangs they are either a pouf or they are thin for curly hair.

I suggest buy a straightner

then hav your hair cut to mid bak or a bit higher u mayb under shoulder bone

then get brown wih blonde streaks ( dirty blonde)

1. im think the technical term is emo combover but people just call it the emo hair

2. for the streaks you should get blonde and if you want a 3rd color you should get red or black as the 3rd color or you could dye your hair black and have an array of colors to choose from

3. now you need alot of products... since your hair is curly nd frizzy you will need a straightener (must have! unless your getting it relaxed) the best would be a CHI but if you cant afford one then i recommend Remington wet2straight you can get it at target for $30 and it works really well....also you will need a very good hairspray what i use for my hair is Tigi's BEDHEAD Maxxed-Out. Also you will need a good shampoo and conditioner i suggest a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner like Tigi's BEDHEAD Moisture Maniac collection or Herbal Essences Hello Hydration collection or Pantene's Daily Moisture Renewal collection.

EMO IS A BAD IDEA HUNNY! Okay start with some side bangs, that looks cute wtih some layers, nice short choppy layers. also you could get your hear feathered around your face, but to get this look, straighten your hair...thats all!!
